Questions about Nikon CLS (Creative Lighting System)20 Feb 2008 18:30 GMT12
I've started playing with the remote flash features of my D-200 (with an
SB-600).  It's a neat system, but a pain to configure.
Each shot I took involved about 8 button presses to get back to the
Commander Mode (e3) menu, select the right field, adjust the compensation,

A Little advice please........18 Feb 2008 09:09 GMT10
I will be attending a NHL game this week and I plan to take some action
photos. My prior efforts have turned out less than stellar results.
I do have decent seats(approx 20 rows up in the corner)
Here's the gear I'll be working with:
A question about my canon lens sharpness18 Feb 2008 02:25 GMT35
My Canon ef 24-70mm f2.8 L is not producing images as sharp as they were
last year. I've compared it with my 100mm f2.8 macro and my 24-105mm f4 L -
both are sharper then the 24-70 at comparable apetures and shutter speeds.
Photographs I took with the 24 - 70 last year are much ...
Bower flashes16 Feb 2008 22:34 GMT1
I'm a firm believer in "You get what you pay for".
However, I was just wondering about the quality of Bower flashes
(for Pentax in my case). Are then functionality-wise "on par" with
a Pentax flash? It's safe to assume that quality may be below par?

Lunar eclipse15 Feb 2008 18:30 GMT11
What equipment would you need to get a decend shot of the lunar eclipse next
Wednesday?
Not looking for professional level, but won't be satisfied with something
that looks like just a speckle of dust when printed on a A5 or A4, either.
sensor to flange distance15 Feb 2008 09:48 GMT6
Would it be worthwhile to design a new APS DSLR with a smaller
sensor-to-flange distance? There are problems with oblique angles on

cheaper lenses?
