Amateur's pondering on f-stop and such . . D70s14 Jan 2008 00:50 GMT23
Hi. To begin with: I'm totally new to photography, and although I am
beginning to grasp the shutter/aperture relationship, there's one
thing I've come across on a couple of occasions, which I can't figure
out. As far as I've read, when choosing a certain f-stop value on my
Canon EOS XTI compression?13 Jan 2008 23:42 GMT9
I'm shooting highest quality setting "L" with the Canon Digital Rebel XTI

and 72 dpi.  But.....the question is:  is Canon doing ...
Paper profiles13 Jan 2008 21:11 GMT6
I seem to be having a hell of a time searching paper profiles for my
printer online except when printer and paper are of course from the
same manufacturer. Is this common or am I just daft?

Recommend a book12 Jan 2008 17:42 GMT26
Could you please recommend a book that talks in detail about the
relationship between shutter speed, ISO and aperture?
Or a good online article would be fine too.
I've been looking all over and haven't found anything.

Cheap holiday camera...12 Jan 2008 09:55 GMT13
I'm getting ready to go on a two vacation in Mexico and I really don't
want to drag along my Nikon and all of its lenses.  I was wondering if
anyone had any recommendations for a cheap point and shoot camera that
takes decent holiday photos?  I will be mostly along the coastline of

to the same CHINESE "craftsmanship" that creates $10 socket sets they
sell at WALMART.
