I don't know how many of you are using these anymore. Most of you use the rechargeable batteries that come with your cameras. I use them for the F5 and the SB28. As I have said in previous posts, it takes forever to charge these

so I have this killer-flash now, for my Nikon D80 (SB-800) I would like to know two things: is there any kind of warning when the batteries are running low? I can't open compartment where batteries go, whether I try to slide it

Many seem to have something akin to the protruding brow on a prehistoric ape species. Is it needed? It seems to make them bulkier than they could be, defeating the purpose of a pancake lens.
