Digital Picture Frames30 Dec 2007 21:53 GMT7
Digital picture frames are apparently flying off the store shelves.  Does
anyone in the group have experience with these?  What make/models have you
tried and really liked?  Thanks, ~Ray
D200 Interval timer long exposure30 Dec 2007 19:45 GMT10
I want to do 30 second exposures repeatedly for a time lapse of the
stars spinning in the sky. The built in interval timer doesn't seem
compatible with this goal. If I set the interval to 1 second (just

Canon announces the new EOS 1d s Mark Twain30 Dec 2007 14:36 GMT4
It sees the world with a lot of humor and a touch of pessimism.
Two versions available, the Huckleberry and the Sawyer, to suit
different photographer personalities.
Said to be excellent for shooting from river rafts.

Scumbags.  Check the store hours on the left.  Obviously, these
"devoutely" religious people missed the part about "Thou Shalt Not

Got a grip? I do!29 Dec 2007 07:48 GMT8
Thanks to the wonderful country of the US of A, Mr. Bush for the war in Iraq
so the price of the dollar dropped, I just got my grip for the D300. Cool!
About half the price I would have spend here in Portugal or other EU
countries (although no one had it in stock anywhere) and it ...

A few days ago I had a portrait assignment. Everything seemed to go well,
but when I came home, I saw that most pictures had a focus problem. I had
focused on the eyes and then recomposed the picture, but the nose instead of
the eyes were sharp!
