Express Cameras21 Sep 2007 20:49 GMT6
I just found them on the internet.  Does anyone know anything about
them?  They have the Canon 40D for $799.00 body only, of course.  Are
they legit?  They also have the Canon EF 70-200 f/2.8 IS USM for
$1299.00.  I have not seen anyone talking about them.  Please let me
Interesting Nikon E-2 extension tube (pre-Ai 14mm)21 Sep 2007 16:28 GMT7
I made an interesting purchase... my first extension tube... and a
rather odd one at that.
A few questions:
1) since this is pre-Ai, is there any danger of damaging my D200 mount
More D80 Exposure and Auto-Bracketing Questions....21 Sep 2007 00:56 GMT11
Sorry to ask so many questions here about the D80, but I find the manual
to be a bit confusing....
I have a few questions:
1.  After changing some of the camera's settings, I can no longer get

D80 Color Cast Prints20 Sep 2007 14:47 GMT1
I wonder if anyone else has seen this anomaly:
I shot a series of "snaps" with my D80 over a period of one month.  Some
shots were outdoors, some indoor under tungsten lights and some under
florescent lights-- all had the Auto White Balance enabled.  The images

High ISO  Canon 10D -vs- 40D20 Sep 2007 02:01 GMT8
Same size sensor, 6 -vs- 10 megapixel.  Old -vs- New.
Has anyone compared the low light performance of the 10D
to the 40D (presumably indirectly...).
I have a 10D, and have been very good about holding back on
Canon 40D...Who has it in stock?19 Sep 2007 23:46 GMT2
I'm in a bit of a jam - I'm just getting back into pro photography. I
used to shoot cars for various magazines, but dropped out of the scene
when art directors started turning their noses up at my 35mm and
medium-format submissions.
Nikon D80 Exposure Compensation Question18 Sep 2007 23:02 GMT7
I've been experimenting with my new D80 by exposure-bracketing each shot
-1.5/0/+1.5.  After a few days of shooting with my the 55-200mm VR Lens,
I find that most of my -1.5 shots look better than the neutral (0)
exposure shots.

2 questions for you guys..
1. The D70 remote I picked up on the weekend seems to have a fairly
short range (as in 6 ft or so).. Is this normal?
2.    I've now got a D70, with remote, so I can do an "up to 30 minutes"
