Rokunar Slide Duplicator HELP25 Sep 2007 19:23 GMT5
Greetings from a newbie!  Looking forward to your collective expertise
and insight.  I just purchased a Rokunar slide duplicator on eBay, and
I'm wondering if anyone can help me figure out how to use it.  I've
done the following:  attached the duper directly to Nikon D80, focused

Worst Customer Service.25 Sep 2007 01:36 GMT42
I just called up Bestpricecameras.com to ask if they had the camera in stock
before I placed the order.
I was told they would only check if I placed the order over the phone.
no big deal but it did turn me off and I am willing to pay more someplace

Freaked out!25 Sep 2007 01:07 GMT7
I lent my camera out for 3 weeks, got it back, but to my horror the camera and
Sigma zoom wasn't working! Nikon 70 just flashed an error code!
After a bit of checking with other lenses that worked, I decided to check the
aperture ring - it MUST be locked at F22...
Cleaning lenses24 Sep 2007 20:09 GMT17
I have two Nikon lenses which I use on a D70s. Two questions: assuming
there is no visible dirt, how often should lenses be cleaned? Also,
any recommendations for solutions/techniques?
Thanks,

The ISO 6400 is damn amazing, even assuming there is noise reduction
applied to the jpeg.

Film.  Never say die....24 Sep 2007 04:03 GMT23
Film still clicks with professional photographers
They use digital out of necessity but go old school for special tasks,

As long as I'm trolling: Ed Betz on D3 vs Mk III23 Sep 2007 04:52 GMT10
Yes, I'm a professional photographer, former Nikon shooter and I now shoot
Canon.
I have shot the MarkIII (A few weeks ago at the US Open in New York) and I
stopped shooting it 1 match.
Canon vs Nikon remote shutter pinouts22 Sep 2007 20:21 GMT13
The Canon DSLRs use simple switch contacts on a 2.5mm plug for the shutter
remote.
What does the Nikon (D80, etc) use?  Is it simply switch contacts, or some
kind of electronic signaling, or what?  What connector?

I've been out of "prosumer" photography for nearly 10 years, and have
decided to get back into things, and would like to float out an idea
of a DSLR and a 3 lens set.
