I just called up Bestpricecameras.com to ask if they had the camera in stock before I placed the order. I was told they would only check if I placed the order over the phone. no big deal but it did turn me off and I am willing to pay more someplace

I lent my camera out for 3 weeks, got it back, but to my horror the camera and Sigma zoom wasn't working! Nikon 70 just flashed an error code! After a bit of checking with other lenses that worked, I decided to check the aperture ring - it MUST be locked at F22...

Yes, I'm a professional photographer, former Nikon shooter and I now shoot Canon. I have shot the MarkIII (A few weeks ago at the US Open in New York) and I stopped shooting it 1 match.

The Canon DSLRs use simple switch contacts on a 2.5mm plug for the shutter remote. What does the Nikon (D80, etc) use? Is it simply switch contacts, or some kind of electronic signaling, or what? What connector?
