Anybody know if this is 8-bit manipulation or is it capable of 16-bits?
It can take raw files directly but it's not clear what happens after the
internal conversion.
Otherwise, seems like a pretty nice program.

Last night I was taking some long exposures. The battery level indicator
suggested the cells were partially depleted. At a certain point, the
camera told me the cells were wholly depleted and refused to take any

The pictures themselves are great - but the camera (Pentax K100D) makes
an absolute racket.
There's a bit of noise during the exposure itself, but afterwards, while

Foveon??  I doubt it.  Too much noise and it wouldn't look good if the
cheaper E-410/510 cameras had lower high ISO noise.
