Camera prices (EOS 5D)15 May 2007 23:16 GMT6
Why would prices for a particular camera (Canon EOS 5D) have such a
wild range? e.g. www.shopcart.usa has prices for the 5D from as high as
$2700 to as low as $1200. The 1200 seems too good to be true.

Another 5D Owner Selling their Noct Nikkor Cheap!15 May 2007 21:47 GMT1
Catch this one while you can!  It looks like a good workhorse lens at a
cheap price.  Though I don't understand why he's selling it so low.

That's with the MF Tokina 300mm f/2.8 plus 1.x TC. Click for full pixel
crop. I'm pretty happy with this one. It's a little bird and very
challenging.

I am trying to understand all the functions of my new camera but the
instruction manual just tells me "how" to use the cameras functions
and I am not really getting a good understanding of "Why" I need to
use the different functions.

You ask, what happens to a dSLR after 18-months?13 May 2007 09:57 GMT11
Well, it's not only limited to dSLRs.  After a piece of consumer electronics
or IT equipment reaches its "Sell By" date it enters a reclassification
phase.  This phase is an essential part of the item's life cycle for its
owner to recoup maximum return on thier purchase.
