I'll moving up to a D200 and will be setting up with at least the
70-200 2.8 VR lens to use primarily for shooting action/sports stuff,
but would also like at least one other lens to use for everyday
shooting...something a bit more manageable to lug around.

Now I've got to the stage of thinking of a new/additional lense and am
looking at the 70-200/300 focal length. I am confused though ...
I know the D40 uses new fangled motorised lenses, but I am not sure which

OK!  What gives?  This was to be a May release and now they do this crap?  I
hope there aren't any manufacturing or quality control issues dogging this
