No mention of them.  Are they going the way of Smart Media?

Editing metadata12 Apr 2007 19:29 GMT2
I am on a Mac.  I have several RAW photos where the camera date was set
wrong and this has been imbedded in the data.  I can change the date in
iPhoto, but I can't access RAW files from iPhoto.  Graphic Converter can
change the system date, but as far as I can tell, not the data ...
Lighting questions12 Apr 2007 18:30 GMT17
Okay guys, here is what I have: Canon Rebel XT, 430EX Flash, two
Smith-Victor 110i monolights with a white reflective umbrella, a silver on
black reflective umbrella, and a shoot through umbrella, a "camera flip"
stroboframe, and a Interfit Flash meter .  I need to trigger strobes ...
Nikon D40X ?12 Apr 2007 04:01 GMT25
After a few years of trying to live without my Nikon SLR
film camera, I've decided that no digital camera which is
not an SLR is going to make me happy or produce the kind of
sensitivity and clarity of image to which I'd grown accustomed.
Time to buy Canon or Nikon stock?12 Apr 2007 01:27 GMT16
Last week I found out that the local paper (part of a huge media chain) is
switching from Nikon to Canon.
And today, at the local Easter Parade, most of the Dslr toting yuppies had
Nikon gear.

Saw a couple of silver ones on Amazon today, for 299... form someplace
called "ace" photo.
Anyone had any experience with these folks? I'd like to have one of these,
but am somewhat skeptical since they're so hard to come by.
Canon 5D stomps Sigma SD14 into the dust11 Apr 2007 23:49 GMT51
What a difference.  Not exactly what those Sigma ads have been touting
these past few months.

Earn huge profits with very little investment

a bit OT: optimisztion of images - help?11 Apr 2007 19:40 GMT39
Sorry if this is a bit off-topic, but in some ways its pretty relevant.
Are any of you knowlegable in the art of optimising images? By that I mean
reducing filesize and retaining as much quality as possible. I was pretty
confident I knew what I was doing but recently I have been ...

Canon, Canon, Canon......11 Apr 2007 04:14 GMT71
>From Luminous Landscape Antarctic trip review:
"About 85% of the trip's members were shooting with Canon gear, mostly
1Ds MKII. There were a couple of 1D MKII and 5D's, with several people
having Rebel XT and XTi bodies as backups.

Lack of reviews of 2 new cameras10 Apr 2007 15:37 GMT33
Could be user base is too small, but dpreview (for e.g.) hasn't
reviewed the Fuji S5 or the Sigma SD14.  I'd be curious to see the S5
contrasted against the Nikon D200, given it costs $500 more and shares
the same body...Previously, dpreview refused to review the Olympus's
