| Where do you show your photos on the web? | 27 Apr 2007 18:53 GMT | 5 |
I have been using a Pro account at Flickr but I've become less and less satisfied with all the complications of making sets, using guest passes, etc. What sites are used for photos - is there something better

| Lightzone/Lightroom/Aperture | 27 Apr 2007 07:00 GMT | 20 |
I've been trying out Lightzone and Lightroom. Lightzone seems very nice, and I think its editing features are quite special. But I don't think an awful lot of its management/browser features.

| Nikon NX | 26 Apr 2007 22:25 GMT | 2 |
I've just started using Nikon NX and noticed that when I open a NEF file it looks fine but then as it renders it the colour balance changes. For example I was photographing some fields of rape seed (nice bright yellow) and it rendered it with a distinct green cast when I open the ...

| dpreview attacks Canon! CHOKE!!!! | 26 Apr 2007 06:39 GMT | 9 |
It's like a dog attacking its master!!!! Here they are, kissing Canon's a.s at every turn, reviewing every P.O.S. P&S that comes down the pipe, and THIS is how Canon treats them! :) http://www.dpreview.com/news/0702/07022208canoneos1dmarkiii.asp

| Nikon AF-C mode | 26 Apr 2007 01:45 GMT | 8 |
I started out with a D70 and quickly dismissed use of AF-C mode, agreeing with Thom Hogan's assessment that not requiring focus lock to allow shutter release resulted mainly in many out of focus images. I've now been using a D200 for over a year and have always set AF-C release to ...

| which white balance for halogen spot lighting? | 25 Apr 2007 21:09 GMT | 9 |
Nikon D40X. I just shot a party in a long dark restaurant with brick walls and halogen track lighting. All I had (having purchased the camera just a week or two ago), was the stock 18-55 lens and the built in flash.

I need to use an external flash on my Pentax K100D. What sort of adapter should I be looking for? I'd prefer wireless but could use wired in necessary. Anyone have any suggestions/recommendations please?

| Canon finally make a good WA? | 24 Apr 2007 22:12 GMT | 16 |
Test on dpreview.com of their new 16-35mm. Looks like less CA, but less sharpness (note the widow frames). In any case, their 24mm prime is awful. Back to the Leicas for satisfaction, for some 1DsMkII and 5D owners...
