Two things contribute to this; The fragility of the small components like battery and memory card doors (their mechanisms get sloppy and the doors break off) and the unprotected LCD screen. Same with the cheap switches they use in these cameras. Contacts wear, etc. My

I now see why they are banning pubic smoking in the US. This gentleman had the audacity to light up in front of me and it wasn't even a hand rolled Cuban cigar, but a cheap Dominican Republic one that smelled like dung and rope.

Recently I took some landscape pictures in raw+jpeg. The jpeg pictures are properly exposed but the raw pictures appear to be underexposed. I viewed the raw images in FSView, Zoombrowser & DPP and in all three they looked underexposed. I processed them with ufraw with auto-exposure ...

When selecting the "Choose Details" within folder options in Windows XP, I see that I can display by some limited photo data, "Camera Model", etc, but I can't sort by "ISO speed" or "Shutter Speed." Can this be done within XP so that I don't have to install another
