long-time Nikon F2AS user -- which SRL digital is best?13 Feb 2007 16:46 GMT24

shoot these days (actually for years now) is with a wide-angle; my
Canon 1D MkII power consumption13 Feb 2007 05:02 GMT4
Yesterday, I mentioned the Canon 10D has negligible current draw when
"on", but not doing anything, and suggested most cameras are the

the wall-wart power gizmo that came with the camera to the gods (I'd

I recently shot some interiors that came out great, but it would have been
nice to have a little more "wide."  Any suggestions for a WA lens that won't
get tons of use but has to be sharp?
BTW, the best shots I was getting with my D-70 was using the camera in

Sigma EF500 DG Super on Minolta / Sony12 Feb 2007 14:29 GMT3
Has anyone here used a Sigma EF500 DG Super on a Minolta or Sony DSLR?
I'm thinking of buying one for my KM5D, but would be interested to
hear of any experiences, good or bad, with this combo. I'm interested
in both on-camera and wireless use.

Some indoor and sports help, please10 Feb 2007 15:49 GMT4
I purchased a Sony A-100 and a Sony 75-300 lens.  My wildlife pictures in
full sun have been amazing capturing individual feathers and even good in
flight shots.  Then I turned my attention to some inside pictures of my
granddaughter (she's 9 months old) and the pictures were just ...
D200 temperature limitation ...09 Feb 2007 09:05 GMT5

surprised to see the manual states that the operational temperature of D200
