| EOS-1D Mark III outperformed by 35mm disposable camera | 25 Feb 2007 16:51 GMT | 5 |
Strange, but true. I made a test pattern composed of red dots and placed some distance away from EOS-1D Mark III and adjusted the zoom to match a 35mm disposable camera.

| Double Exposure | 25 Feb 2007 16:24 GMT | 45 |
A while back I asked if any digital cameras did double exposure. I found out the Nikon D200 does. Now I find that the Nikon D40 (and possibly other cameras) has the capability to overlay two images, which to my way of thinking is exactly the same thing.

| Anyone here tried the Olympus P-11 printer? | 24 Feb 2007 21:49 GMT | 4 |
For some reason, every "review" I've found of one of these photo printers is little more than a recycled press release, and user reviews are either "IT R0X0RS!!!!11!" or "IT SUX0RS!!111!". I'd like to find some print samples and see how it compares to the other

| Nikkor 18-200 VR DX Zoom problem | 24 Feb 2007 12:37 GMT | 46 |
As a Canon devotee, I said I would post this query from my D200-owning friend (Greater love hath no man than this ... {:-) He bought a new Nikkor 18-200 VR DX lens for his D200, but it has an annoying problem. If he tilts the camera down to check the lcd screen,

| Fun with the 10.5mm f/2.8 DX Nikkor fisheye | 24 Feb 2007 09:02 GMT | 1 |
The 10.5mm f/2.8 DX Nikkor Fisheye is a crop frame (DX) lens, equivalent to the old 16mm fisheye on film (the only DX lens I have). It is still f/2.8 and $200 less than the full frame model: http://tinyurl.com/33946f

I have a Nikon D70 (wife has a D80) and the only telephoto zoom we have is a Nikkor 70-210mm which we are always fighting over. We wish to add another large zoom lens and have been reading up on the Sigma 170-500mm,Sigma 80-400mm & Tamron 200-500mm. Has anyone got experience of ...

| Confused over Lens | 23 Feb 2007 08:25 GMT | 14 |
I have just bought the Canon 400D and I am not very keen on the 18-55 kit lens provided with the camera. Because of budget constraints, I am thinking about going for a Sigma lens, let me also clarify that I am new to photography and don’t know much about
