I recently bought a Pentax K10D. I could not find a way to reset the file number. I reset everything, but that didn't affect the file number. Does anybody now whether that's possible and how?

I have a Canon 90-300 lens which has stopped working. When I turn on my camera (EOS 300D) I get Err 99 and the lens makes a noise as if the gear is stuck. I remember just before it stopped working that the auto-focus was slow which might be important. Does anybody know what

Why lenses with lower f cost that much more? Lower f is just a bigger hole. Is that because lower f required better quality lenses?

I didn't get in on this thread soon enough. I shoot both RAW and JPEG. When it comes time to import photos into Light Room I have to Ctrl-click on only the RAW files. Can anybody tell me if there is a way to sort and import only the RAW files, besides doing all this clicking?

I still have not made my mind up regariging which DSLR Nikon D80 or the D200 . If the tecnology is not going to last. Should I just go for the cheaper D80 which may last for say 4 years ? then upgrade
