| Are "D" and "Di" zoom lenses the same? | 12 Dec 2006 10:16 GMT | 3 |
Looking to buy the Tamron 70-300mm f/4-5.6 Di Zoom Lens for my Nikon D70. I've seen posts which refer to the "D" lens and how it's generally considered better than the "G" lens. Is the "Di" lens the same thing?

| rarity range of camers | 11 Dec 2006 07:50 GMT | 3 |
I am thinking of starting a personal camera collection. I know that there is a 'rarity' range, or index, that is used to assess the rarity of various models, but, I cannot find it on the net. Does anyone here know if there is a common set that is used. Or does each manufacturer ...

I can't find my Canon Speedlite 430EX user-manual, and I'm wondering if it's possible to download a PDF version of it somewhere? I've searched the various Canon websites, but haven't been able to find anything yet.

| The Nikon D200 DSLR is still my choice for the best Pro-Am Digital SLR camera. | 10 Dec 2006 16:25 GMT | 21 |
I have used this camera for close to a year now and still consider it to be one of the best cameras I have ever lifted to my eye. The Nikon D200 Digital SLR is well balanced in the hand and the controls are easy to get used to. The weight is not an issue (like it is with the D2x and

| Filters for Nikon SB-600? | 09 Dec 2006 23:26 GMT | 12 |
These are probably all stupid questions, but I'll ask them anyway :-) I'm looking at the Nikon SB-600 flash (on the web; haven't got to hold one in my hand yet) and I don't get how the optional SJ-1 filters are supposed to work. At one level, they're obviously just bits of gel ...

| Taking another (very serious) look at the Apple MacBook laptop computer, as an in the field storage and editing device for digital photography. | 09 Dec 2006 18:11 GMT | 2 |
First off I have to admit that I have never really liked the, shiny refrigerator white, iBook laptop computers. I have used them a number of times and even taken other people to Apple Stores to buy them, but just like those gum drop colored and flower power iMacs (which I had no
