I've been considering upgrading to the Nikon D2x, but am wondering
whether there is a successor in the offing.  Has anyone heard anything

Pg. 48 of the current issue.  Basically, they say their lens testing
equipment provides a far better measure of lens performance than
testing the lenses on a specific DSLR.  They say that many lens tests
done "out there" can be near worthless.

I am having soune funds transfered to firepay and was wondering if
anyone knew of any sites that sell gear that accept firepay or anyone

or avoid carrying all that bulk and use my wife's A610 P&S.
 I tried taking some low light pictures which brings up my question.
 The P&S lens extends out ~1 inch from my hand while my D70 extends out

How far are we of getting large format equivalent resolution with DSLR?
I would think the new generation of DLSR are at par with 35mm film but what
about large format? Will we ever get there?

At least that's the rumour.  The brand new Olympus E-400 is no more.
They made 2000 of them, Kodak, the CCD supplier F------ up somehow and
the E-400 got the shaft.  Back to the drawing board for Olympus.
Supposedly, 3 new DSLRs and the E-3 are on the way.
