The D70 gives a range of exposure bracketing from -2EV to +2EV with numerous
increments in between.
Assuming that I want "one under, one over, and one right on" what determines
whether I go in steps of 1/3, 1/2, or a full EV?

Hello out there!
Since december 2005 I am using the Nikon D70s. Now my work with the camera
gets more professional, so I want to buy another camera to have a back-up.
Until recently the D200 was my clear choise. Another D70s would not give me

Just took the plunge, and went dslr, purchased the Nikon D-50, after using
Sony P&S and a Cannon AE-1, which is over 20 years old, still works, but I
cant bear to part with.
The D-50 is great, still learning it, but its nice to be able to shoot and
