Does anyone know if there are specific converters for certain lenses,
other than a Sigma with a Sigma. I am looking for one for my 70-300???

Ok, I decided on getting the D70s (D200 is just too expensive)
now I'm trying to decide which lenses to get. I want 1 good lense for
normal photography (party, wedding, walking around shots) and 1 for
nature shots where I would like to get in a bit closer to my subject.

-5 stops of vignetting???  Is is true?
Good radial gradient filters are expensive, but professional optical
shops make them.

I am in Australia - travelled to the USA and purchased a NEW 30D from an
authorised reseller. I get home - the camera developed a fault - Canon will
NOT fix it under warranty and it is 3 weeks old.

Can any camera auto focus with the lens stopped down? I know it would
be dimmer, but suppose there is more than enough light. Suppose the
lens stopped down is sharper than wide open, would that make auto focus
more accurate and faster?

Sorry if this is old news, but I am looking for a wireless shutter
release for the D200.  Range 100 ft. Any vendor will do.

Most pictures (depends on background) from a 3 year old drebel display
1 or 2 vertical arcs. These arcs span the height of the shot and
resemble a washed out, partial rainbow. This is unlike any dust i have
ever seen.

I want a daypack that will allow me to bring along my camera *AND* a
few other things as well. It seems like you usually have to choose
between one or the other though, but I'm hoping someone here knows of a
suitable bag.

When dumping my photos from my Canon EOS-350D over to my computer using
the supplied USB cable I notice it takes forever.
I assume this has something to do with shooting in RAW+JPG, but still,
isn't there a faster way to transfer my photos?

Any suggestions on instructional books on using an SB-800?  I'd prefer
less advertisement, and more technical information on how the flash
interacts with the internal metering of a D200 or D70.

i swear i was able to defeat the built in flash in manual mode before but i
can't now?  any ideas?
