| Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ : date stamp | 22 Jun 2006 20:26 GMT | 1 |
Does anyone know how to get the date stamp to show up on the photo? Not on a printout, but on the digital image itself? I know the information is in the file, but when I watch the pitcures of the kids go by on the screen saver, I like to know what the date was

| D200 quirk | 22 Jun 2006 17:27 GMT | 8 |
Because my nose can hit the Multi Selector and move my focus point, I always keep the Focus selector Lock on. When I want to move my focus point I unlock, but usually the focus point won't move, unless I turn the camera off and back on again. I have not been able to find a pattern. ...

I feel the urge coming up to finally buy a new screen. Currently I have an 19" CRT but it's getting a little old and small and ... well you know, ... wouldn't it be great to have a bright, fast, cool 20" or higher widescreen TFT ? Especially now, when this stuff is more or less

| Canon 70-300mm IS USM or other brand/type? | 22 Jun 2006 05:31 GMT | 43 |
I've recently bought a Canon EOS-350D camera body and a Sigma 17-70mm f/2.8-4.5, so an additional zoom would probably be a nice addition to my setup. I take a lot of pictures while traveling so portability is important. I

I currently use PSE3 to organize all of my photos and also, to do some post processing editing. I find the Pse3 RAW plug-in to be ok but RSE is better. I like many of the features and controls of RSE for making the initial adjustments on the RAW File. I need some help with the

| iPod for photo download - reviews or experience? | 20 Jun 2006 23:38 GMT | 11 |
Has anyone any experience using an ipod with the 'camera connector' accessory for the Canon 350D? Pros, cons etc. I am not so interested in using the ipod to review the photos, but it appears at first glance to be an ideal storage mode for 20 Gb of .jpg's and .raw's while on an ...

| Nikon D2h - pass or go? | 20 Jun 2006 15:42 GMT | 2 |
Owner is selling for about 1/3rd of the price of a new D200 and is including a 28-85mm AF lens. I'm really at a loss here...I could live with 4.1MP as I seldom enlarge anything bigger than a 12x8, but what I want to know is what I can

I've been having a lot of fun taking pictures of insects and small plants with my 60mm Nikkor "micro" lens. Some of my latest pictures taken with this lens are at http://www.scottspeck.com/old4/index.html. The blue heron pics on that page were taken with a 80-400 Nikkor zoom ...

| why do we need digital SLR? | 19 Jun 2006 07:57 GMT | 60 |
Since traditional SLR (single len reflective) camera uses a mirror to reflect the light, what you view in the viewfinder is what you get on the film. So it is "WYSIWYG" (what you see is what you get). However, with the digital cameras, you constantly see the image on the
