Batteries for Sony HVL-F32X?11 Apr 2006 05:02 GMT6
I've got a Sony HVL-F32X external flash for my 828.  They work well
together.
Problem is, the flash won't work with NiMH rechargables. If it gets to
the Ready point at all, it takes forever.  I thought it was old

52mm lenses10 Apr 2006 14:25 GMT3
I have noticed that the close-up lense for my digital powershot A75 is
52mm, the same size as the close-up lense for my analogue SLR EOS 650.
Does that mean that I can get an adapter that would allow my full range
of EOS lenses to fit on the digital camera?
Canon's finest imager, pixel per pixel10 Apr 2006 13:54 GMT12
I overheard one of the clerks in a camera store say that in terms of
pixel per pixel quality,
Canon's 1D MkII N was the best imager Canon made.  He said something
about
key/fill slaving with nikon SB80 or SB80010 Apr 2006 08:41 GMT5
How does nikon flash wireless syncing work with the SB80?
A friend was saying that his two sb800 sync without need of pocket wizards.
Is it a radio slave? IR or plain 'visual' slave?
Can I use my SB80 and buy another 80 or 800 or do I need two 800's?
Question about metering with Canon 20D10 Apr 2006 07:18 GMT9
When I use the evaluative metering, if I press and keep pressing the shutter
button halfway, the metering value is locked. So I can recompose the picture
as I want and take the picture with this metering value.
In partial metering or in centerweighted average metering, it's not ...

D50 or D70s?10 Apr 2006 00:35 GMT7
I'm new to the forum but not entirely new to photography. I've not use
a DSLR before since my knowledge is limited to the ancient manual SLRs.
I've got the option of buying a D50 or D70s (not a D70 with a firmwar
upgrade, but the genuine article) for the same price from a reputabl
Light fall off on dSLRs - an experiment10 Apr 2006 00:13 GMT237

compact flash speeds09 Apr 2006 17:22 GMT10
i have a 20D so i am assuming it can outpace a standard card.  I have seen
sandisk ultra I ultra II and ultra III.  I think the III came out after the
20D.  Basically how fast should i go before i'm wasting my money.  My
original 300D couldn't make use of anything faster than ...
advice09 Apr 2006 17:07 GMT7

"recreational use" - vacations, kids' sporting events etc. I don't have any
AF lenses, so am not predisposed to any brand - though several ...
