I have searched for jpeg compression programs, even downloaded a couple and tried them out, but can't seem to get them to work for me. I've used Nikon's Nikon View4 software to load image files at different resolutions (same as taken, 1040x728, 640x480, etc... numbers not

I was wondering if anyone has used one of those LCD screen cover (hoods) that help protect and flight glare on your camera's LCD screen. I see Hoodman makes them. The ones at the local store are in blister packs so I can't try one.

I just recently got a 4GB CF card to use with my Nikon D70. Playing with the modes, I discover that I can get over 15000 images (camera estimated) using the "Small" format, and the "Basic" level of JPEG compression.

OK, it looks like I'm going to be going for the Nikon D50. I can get the 2 lens kit (18-55mm and 55-200mm) for $820 delivered....or I could get the D50 body only + the 18-70mm lens that normally comes with the D70s for about $870.

Can some recommend a book which illustrates how to pose people for portraits. I would love a book that would show full body poses and posing shots outside the studio. I saw a few books that show lots of upper body indoor type portraits, but they were too focused as such.
