| Lenses For Macro Photography | 12 Dec 2005 02:27 GMT | 16 |
I recently bought a D70s with a 18-70 lens. I want to get into macro photography but my lens does not work well in that case. I have read that some people use 105mm and 60mm lenses. Can anyone recommend a good macro lens?

| Digital Rebel XT - lense advice | 11 Dec 2005 16:38 GMT | 33 |
Santa is bringing me a Digital Rebel XT (I've been good this year). I hear that the lense which comes with it isn't ideal, and I may want to invest in a better one. I've read lots of different opinions - too many to formulate an answer!

| 20D ?? 5D | 11 Dec 2005 16:27 GMT | 27 |
Has there been any comparison on Hi ISO settings of the two cameras. There was some reports on a banding problem with the 20D , has there any problems with the 5D. If no banding problems are found with the 5D, then that is the way to go. I just hate it when a Product has ...

In trying to choose my first DSLR I've noticed something. Everyone leans towards either Nikon or Canon. Why has Minolta been left out in the cold? I already own a Minolta 600si. I'd like to be able to use its Sigma

| True or false? | 10 Dec 2005 03:37 GMT | 15 |
Investing in better lenses and a Canon 20D will result in better photos than spending the extra money on a 5D and buying modest glass? I've seen shots taken with both cameras and I just don't see a huge difference, even with 100% crops. Certainly not as much as between

Really would like one but it is way over budget. So does anyone have any experience with the alternatives like the Sigma 24-70 f2.8 or the Tamron 28-75 f2.8 or the Tokina 28-80 f2.8?

Is there any worthwhile alternative to the Pentax 360 flash? I looked at Digi-slave and other Vititar/Sigma alternative. None of them had positive review.

| What's an "effective pixel"? | 09 Dec 2005 01:08 GMT | 53 |
After 25 years with my OM-2, a couple of years ago I broke down and got a Cannon PowerShot. Great little camera, but I'm ready to move up. One thing I'm thinking of is the Olympus E-500, but I'm a long way from plunking down any money yet.
