Very best lenses to use on a DLSR07 Sep 2005 06:09 GMT8
I found this forum thread very interesting in light of people asking

Why plastic is trash for cameras07 Sep 2005 01:37 GMT64

It broke at the plastic point, even though the lens was
a plastic-metal combo.  Polycarbonate versus aluminum, stainless
or magnesium?  No contest.
Old Lenses07 Sep 2005 01:22 GMT3
I have a couple of 1970's Mamiya-Sekor SLR cameras with a collection of

I've taken with my Pentax ist DS.  Can't do it with
Elements 3.  Microsoft Raw Thumbnail viewer doesn't
seem to help.  Can't do it with ZoomBrowzer EX.

After some consideration, I think i'm looking at a 5D with 35mm f1.4L and
100mm f2.0, but I already have some manual Nikkors (50mm f1.4, possibly 85mm
