All this talk about lenses, and the lens that comes in the kit with the

Does anyone know where I can buy a Canon 5D in the UK?

Is it possible to purchase a split-prism focusing screen to replace the
default screen in the 20D?  Would that screw up the auto-focus?  No idea how
this stuff works internally.  Figure such a product would be nice.

I have a chance to get a "DS6041".  It is advertised as a 300D but I'm
getting feedback that says that it is actually a 10D.
I've done searches one after the other and am getting nowhere.
Please tell me how to tell if the "DS6041" is a 300D or a 10D.

They are both I believe rated for 100,000 operations, are they the
same?

reviews gave the Editors pick as the Sony HS95P, saying excellent photo

However Googling brought up one buyer who said he could not edit images

I was quite pleased with the result until I saw someone else's slide show.
It had a lot more sophisticated transitions than mine.
