My wife bought me a Nikon D70s digital camera for my birthday and I am

I, being a totally newbie to digital slrs, bought the 20D a few weeks back.

Tip for shooting interiors11 Jul 2005 05:35 GMT4
I've been playing with my new SB800 on a D70, and it can really help in
certain situations.
Many times we want to shoot an interior but also expose so you can see the
view out the window.  No problem.  Just expose for the scene out the window

Tell me again, what's the big deal about RAW images?10 Jul 2005 22:33 GMT36
Okay, I've finally installed Photoshop CS2 and now have a program that can
manipulate the RAW image format from my Nikon D70.
In a completely uncontrolled test (I'll do a formal shoot-off later) I took
a few pictures of flowers in the garden using the RAW format for recording

Digital SLR - New Friend story....10 Jul 2005 14:36 GMT3
I know this is somewhat off topic.
I was talking to a co-worker who recently came back from vacation. Just
small talk while waiting for a meeting to start. We never really had much in
common. Anyway, he mentions that he bought a nice camera while on vacation

I'm about to purchase an Epson Stylus Photo R2400 printer ($850), or a Canon

suggestions for a better photo printer in this price range (below 1K)?
Thanks

photos there. Is there any filter that is better? I have the standard
18-70mm lens for now. Thanks Mo.
