Microsoft has released it's RAW viewer software to patch XP SP2 to read both NEF
files and Canon raw files, 4 different types actually...
It's a 6 meg download if you have ,net 1.1 installed (needed for Norton Ghost
among other things) or a 28 meg if you don't...

I am trying to take a photo of my place, from a high vantage point far away,

Qwestion for the Nikon and Canon camps.  I'm looking a moving into
digiital.  My current system in the OM system.  They have/had a great
mmarophoto group. With a bellows and extention tubes and their macro
lenses I shoot alot at above 1:1 some up to >10:1.  Do either of the

Thanks to all who clarified my questions regarding ISO settings and the real
differences between A(utomatic) and P(rogram) modes for my Nikon D70s.  This
is a great group.

Canon DSLR Rebel EOS.
Current folder count 290, image count 9000. I think this means I have taken

I know, this is one of the most asked questions... but I dare:
I have  a 17 - 40 L and 75 - 300 IS  Lens. I'm missing something inbetween
(~30 - ~ 90 / 100). What should I look at, apart from the 24-70L (kind of
pricy).
