be positive. Has anybody used one?
D70, PSE2 and AdobeRGB colourspace29 Jul 2005 11:49 GMT2
I've been using Photoshop Elements 2.0 successfully for some weeks to edit
jpeg images from my Nikon D70 SLR (firmware version 2.00). I recently
changed  the camera setup to use the AdobeRGB colourspace. However, the
resulting images are reported as 'untagged' by PSE2.

I've had a 350D now for a couple of months would like to start taking

The Sigma 18-200mm DC F3.5-5.6 lens I have at the moment allows me to
get quite close to subjects, however it fails to focus at all if you get
Why you should always carry your camera with you: 28 Jul 2005 13:53 GMT121
I was trying to write the necessary info down without causing an
accident... when I had a revelation, "Grab the XT, dumb a.s!"

Someone _is_ going to pay for this :-) :-)
Switching to a Canon digital SLR27 Jul 2005 20:53 GMT34
The plan is to switch from my EOS 3 to a EOS 350D. Will my Canon
lenses be OK? EF 85 1.8 and EF 35-80? What about the Tamron 28-300? I
see there is a DI version of this now. What extra does that give?
20D at ISO 1600 with FX 580 Speedlight27 Jul 2005 19:17 GMT16
If you've ever tried to shoot city lights with a Hand held 20D while
maintaining the lights at reasonable EV and keeping the thing from
blurring the image via camera movement, you'll understand the challenge
of doing that while producing a well lit flashed shot in the foreground. ...

On my recommendation a friend purchased a Canon EOS 20d just like I have.
When he received it, it was giving him error 005, flash pop-up problems.
Suggested remedies did not correct it and he his going to send the body
back for replacement.  Anybody else run into this and what ...

Portrait lighting question ...27 Jul 2005 10:44 GMT19
Thanks everyone for your comments on my first portrait attempt.
Since then I popped into my local hardware store and picked up a couple of
tripods with twin 500 watt halogens mounted on each - so 2000 watts of light
in total.
Sailor lost on beach!27 Jul 2005 07:13 GMT41
The suggestion I made a few weeks ago that a Panasonic P&S might capture
detail in shadows past when a (Canon) DSLR sensor stops recording
information would seem to hold up in view of some recent pics I took in
ultra strong sunlight.
