You are a TERRORIST!09 May 2005 00:34 GMT27
It's kind of difficult, determining if someone is
or is not up to no good when you see them photographing
a building or other structure.  It may be impossible
to tell, which is why they are "erring on the side of
Flash reccommendations for Maxxum 7D08 May 2005 19:31 GMT1
Just wondering if anybody had any opinions on or recommendations for flashes
for the Maxxum 7D. I'm looking for something that will eliminate red eye and
the red  eye reduction preflash as well as just be an all around better
flash than the one on the camera. Flash is one of my ...

racing photos.... certainly  a dusty environment...

GOT IT LAST WEEK AND I HAVEN'T LET GO!
This is GREAT!  FAST, EASY, FUN.  I love it.  I stopped taking pictures
with my Rebel but now I'm the biggest jerk around.  Driving people nuts
at work and my wife wants to kill me.  The prints are fantastic and

I heard this name announced on the radio. Is that
what they are actually calling the upgraded model?

New York Thieves07 May 2005 23:43 GMT24
What amazes me is that I just bought a Canon 20 d, and could not buy one
from any of the large dealers that did no rip you off by sepeating all of
the factory packaged items, and selling them to you at super ripoff
inflationary prices.  I got the body, and managed to get the ...

Nikon E2N or E2Ns07 May 2005 21:58 GMT15
Has anyone here ever owned one of these 1996-vintage digital SLRs? How
would you rate it? I know they're seriously deficient compared with
modern digital SLRs, but are they worth bothering with at all?
Apart from cost (~USD11K then) and specs, there doesn't seem to be much
20D - 2004?07 May 2005 05:45 GMT59
I went and looked again at the DRebel-XT. The shop also had a 20D. Wow, big
difference in the handling, at least to me. I am not sure I can justify the
500 bucks difference though. I am thinking about it though.... Looking at
the brochure on the 20D, seems to be around 2004. Does ...
Question about D70 flash07 May 2005 00:55 GMT10
I put the camera in 'P' mode and wanted to take a pic in my kitchen last night,
and noticed it would be a bit too low an 'F' number, and wanted more dof, so I
flipped up the flash... now I find the Program wheel doesn't do anything... it's
stuck on 1/60 F 4.
Best flash for D70?06 May 2005 23:09 GMT13
I will get my new D70s in a few days, and consider to buy a good flash for
it. What's  your experience - which are the best? Everyone I've talked to
recommends the SB-800, but isn't it overpriced?
How about the Metz flashes? Are they completely compatible with all
UV, Polarizing filters06 May 2005 21:59 GMT33
Are these still worth getting for D-SLRs? I'm pretty sure I can skip all
the color filters, special effects, etc, but I'm not sure about those 2
types.
Pentax IST06 May 2005 20:19 GMT145
Without starting a flame war here, I am wondering at the lack of comentary
on the Pentax Digital SLR's in this group.  Is the Pentax that bad? that
under represented? Or are the Canon and Nikon DSLR's just that much
better/widespread?  Are the Pentax guys underground or in ...
