I NEED a formula!!!20 Apr 2005 10:02 GMT1
I was told that unless your lens resolves 360 lines per mm, you can't
support the full resolution provided by 8 megapixels.
Is there a formula for this anywhere?
Thanks
4/3 vs 1.x crop vs full frame lens20 Apr 2005 09:48 GMT71
I wonder which will end up on top 4/3, 1.x crop or full frame.
Cropped and 4/3 lenses are lighter and less expensive, but so far they
have not been produced in the variety and speed of full frame lenses.
At the same time, chip prices are coming down and full frame sensors
Best reference book for DSLR camera and Photoshop?20 Apr 2005 04:48 GMT22
I would like to get some ideas of what book or books would be your
choice to buy. I'm pretty sure I'm going to buy a Nikon D70 so I would
like a book that helps me to understand the controls and functions of
a camera with the D70's capabilities.

Anyone else think it makes the
cameras look kind of cheezy?
Do they use it on the top DSLRs?

why no ISO 50 on D70?16 Apr 2005 15:22 GMT22
Is there a reason the D70 doesn't go below ISO 200? It ought to be simple.
Occasionally I might have the need for tight DOF and motion blur with a
slow shutter but it's impossible without overexposing in good light.
EF-S 18-55 Problem16 Apr 2005 05:19 GMT3
I got my 300d a few weeks ago, and have had an intermittent problem with
the kit lens. Every now and again (always in natural light) I'll get a
halo covering the same part of the picture:

compact head (tripod)15 Apr 2005 15:32 GMT20
I picked up a Manfrotto 3021 PRO tripod with a 3047 head Saturday. I did
all my research online, and I ended up scrambling to get to Showcase
Photo in Atlanta 10 min. before closing time. I had to call while
enroute to ask them to have it ready.
