Check this out. If you want to do some really cool things with your digital
pictures, check out http://www.irisize.com. I found them doing a search. I
know they are free right now but I don't know how long that is going to
last.
DxO Optic Pro Software24 Apr 2005 06:53 GMT7
I was wondering how many people up here are using this software. I
pulled down the demo for my Canon 20D with 70-200mm f4 lens and ran a
few images and so far I haven't seen terrific results. On this lens it
appears to draw the image slightly closer and does sligthly lighten the
Go Wider Or Longer? (Beyond the 18-55mm For 20D)24 Apr 2005 01:45 GMT21
If you also started with the 20D and the 18-55mm kit lens, what was (or will
be) your next lens purchase?
Did you (will you) go for something wider or with more reach?
Just picking the collective brain...

Are there any online sites that can hold

Canon 300D Digi Rebel + 550EX flash underexposure problem ugh23 Apr 2005 19:33 GMT4
Howdy all,
The more I use this thing the more dissatisfied I become with the wild
variability of flash exposures on this combination.  My previous setup
was an Elan and a 540EZ flash, and flash exposures were always
SB-600 or SB-800 Flash for Nikon D70 ???23 Apr 2005 14:45 GMT11
Neophyte question.
I want to take photos at family gatherings and other indoor events. The
one time I've done this, the photos were not impressive because a lot of
the shots had bad shadows cast by the builtin flash. I'm *guessing* the
Implications of Nikons new lenses23 Apr 2005 13:21 GMT2
I'm trying to figure out exactly where Nikon is positioning their new
DX  lenses in relation to the existing ones.
We've got the 18-70 f3.5-4.5g kit lens for the D70 which has gotten
very good reviews

Lenses 400mm & up22 Apr 2005 21:30 GMT5
I'm looking for lenses 400mm and up for my 20D.. The Canon prices are way to
high for me. I'm not looking for Canon quality but something decent.
I've come across a couple lenses that I would appreciate opinions on.
Quantaray-600-1000mm Zoom Lens (T-mt) About $350
Fastest rebate ever - thank you Tamron22 Apr 2005 16:19 GMT3
I bought a Tamron 24-135mm for my Digital Rebel awhile back and
submitted the rebate request a week and half ago.  I received the check
yesterday!  It's only $40 but I usually write off rebates as a lost
cause so the check was a pleasant surprise.
Nikon's improved D70, price increased??22 Apr 2005 06:17 GMT6
Did Nikon raise the price by about $250 over the old
D70?  If so, was this so they wouldn't have to make
the price of the new D50 too low?
Reason I ask is the Rebel XT is available in Canada
D70 to copy 35mm slides?22 Apr 2005 00:16 GMT9
I want to be able to "digitize" some old 35mm slides from a family event.
Does anybody have any recommendations, please.  I have the standard D70 body
with the older analogue (film) camera lenses (F65).  Is there an attachment
I can fit onto the body / end of the lens and point to a ...
