Minolta AF 17-35mm f/2.8-4 (D)10 Apr 2005 16:55 GMT6
For the Minolta AF 17-35mm f/2.8-4 (D) and I guess all the new Minolta
D-type lenses, is it 17mm after the crop factor is taken into consideration?
Is 17mm for those D lenses really 17mm?
Thanks.
Konica Minolta 7d firmware upgrade problem10 Apr 2005 16:48 GMT1
After installing upgrade to ver. 1.10e(which was not a problem) the camera
will start up but when I tried to access the menu  all that happens is that
it displays system error and locks up.
Can anyone offer suggestions on how to fix this.
The Eyes of EOS - Lovely Sunday morning read...10 Apr 2005 15:02 GMT1
I've been spending a rainy Sunday morning reading (rather looking at)
_EF Lens Work III, The Eyes of EOS_.  If you have any interest in
Canon's lenses, this is a great addition to you library as well as
providing some challenging examples of just what can be done with
CD's of photos10 Apr 2005 07:10 GMT5
Hi gang
Just returned from a very nice holiday and want to be able to share our
digital pictures with friends.  Although we have a DVD player it is not a
photo CD reader and so I can't experiment to see what will work.

Got 350 XT Today, Need Long Lens09 Apr 2005 22:02 GMT6
I've been looking for a black Canon 350XT for a couple of weeks, and finally
found one that had been on hold at a local camera store. Whoever had
committed to purchase it, didn't show on the appointed day (yesterday) so
when I dropped into the store today, they tried to call her, ...
[Photos] Washington Post - Cherry blossoms09 Apr 2005 07:13 GMT8
www.washingtonpost.com has a nice photo gallery of the cherry blossom's
along the tidal basin.  An annual rite of spring for D.C.
(It's not clear if the phots are from last year or this... It seems a
mite early?).
OT: Newsreaders?09 Apr 2005 06:22 GMT41
Sorry about the off topic post but I would like some recommendations for a
good software for reading news-groups. Currently I use OE and its less than
satisfactory. Once again sorry to be off topic but I figured most of you
guys know a better reader than what I'm using.
RAW file thumbnails in windows?09 Apr 2005 03:37 GMT5
Hi all, my mate is able to display his RAW files from his Canon 10D in
windows as thumbnails, not little icons like I get. He said he had to do
something to windows xp to get them to display like this, but he can't
remember where he found the information to do so? Anyone out ...

First impression with 20D and new lenses08 Apr 2005 13:12 GMT49
I finally got my starting four lenses to mate up with my 20D body.
The two L lenses (17-40 and 70-200) are impressive as to build and
feel.  From what I've just shot around the house the 17-40 with the
crop from the sensor is just where I thought it would be.
[OT]: Personality Change and New Baby07 Apr 2005 16:46 GMT5
I've been posting under Robert Bobb, which I forgot to change after
testing the account in my newsreader until someone here pointed that
out.  My real name is Mike and I've always signed my posts as Mike.
I've now changed the name in my newsreader.  Sorry for the confusion.
