BG-E2 grip Serial # 5000030 Apr 2005 18:37 GMT3
I read some posts recently that Canon BG-E2 grips with serial numbers
greater than 50000 dont have any issues. I have also read an article where
Canon admitted there was a problem. Does anyone have a link or article which
links the two together? Are there any experiences from users ...
The hype about "name" lenses30 Apr 2005 17:56 GMT26
This is off topic, because it deals with
non-DSLRs, but the use of big names for lenses
for non-big name cameras is annoying.
Carl Zeiss, Leitz, etc.  So what? They don't
I wonder which cameras these are???30 Apr 2005 17:27 GMT2
From dpreview site;
"Customers such as Olympus and Nikon -- which buy Sanyo's cameras and
put their own brands on them -- had scaled back orders in the face of
a glut in the market."
EOS 300D (digital rebel) filenames30 Apr 2005 16:21 GMT6
I don't know if I'm asking an impossible question, but it has to be
worth a try...
I'm interested in buying a second hand EOS 300D (that's the digital
rebel to some people) that I've seen for sale here in the UK. I wanted
I saw the Pentax Ist today30 Apr 2005 04:05 GMT24
It's too small.  The Minolta was right next to it, then the Olympus
E-300.  I'd take either over the Pentax.  Did it escape the Japanese
that Americans get bigger all the time and that their hands get larger
as well???

Ok my current zoom is an told tamron 70-300 that i bought used.  The color

How often do you.....?29 Apr 2005 23:18 GMT6
Find yourself trying to photograph subject that
you can't fill the frame with?  For instance,
some animal, aircraft, whatever.  In a case like
that, you either leave the background (which could
Minolta 7D and Ring Flash29 Apr 2005 22:27 GMT1
Does anyone know if a ring flash works on the Minolta 7D.
I'd like to buy one for macro photography but want to be sure it works
first.

Canon BG-E2 grip shooting report.29 Apr 2005 22:09 GMT4
There have been reports here of problems with the BG-E2  battery grip
on the 20D.  I went and got one.  It arrived last week and I spent all
day Saturday using it on a project.  I had no problems and find it a
welcome addition to the 20D.  It sets up very tight with no play or
Wi-Pics - pricey but will solve some photogs problems29 Apr 2005 20:36 GMT1
I'm not sure if this has been discussed here, but this looks great
product.  It is, of course quite expensive.  Sigh.

This product is in fact an over achiever... it has its own 40 GB storage
