| My kingdom for a 1200mm f/5.6! | 14 Mar 2005 23:10 GMT | 37 |
The first time the fox has come around in months, and it's in the field hunting mice and doing other fox-like activities. Maybe I can settle for the 600mm f/4 IS and a 2x teleconverter.

| Dust becomming a major DSLR issue? | 14 Mar 2005 23:00 GMT | 33 |
I notice they are now selling $2/ea q-tips for removing dust from the sensor windows. Is this becomming a major issue for DSLR owners and does the Olympus system for removing it actually work well?

| D70 mirror sticks? | 14 Mar 2005 22:53 GMT | 9 |
So I quite enjoy my D70 kit, naturally. Only glitch I've come across is the mirror randomly locking up. It's happened maybe... 5 frames out of 2000. Happily taking single frames... then it just sticks in place. Mirror is

| Sigma gone bad... | 14 Mar 2005 15:52 GMT | 7 |
My Sigma 28-105 lens bit the dust today. Well, maybe it didn't bite the dust, but it certainly broke. In the middle of shooting, it became unable to stop down the aperture *if* the lens was at 70mm or longer. Under 70mm, it works just fine. Above, nothing. If I stop it down ...

Has anyone here dealt with http://www.usaphotonation.com ? I'm thinking about buying a Nikon D-70 and they are selling them for $600. This seems like an awfully good price to me. In fact, the body only is $400. I'm just worried that it might not come with English documentation or ...

| full body from 6 feet away... lens for a D70? | 14 Mar 2005 04:40 GMT | 6 |
So, my dilemma is this. I need a lens to use with my D70 that will allow me to take shots of two and three people standing posing, all shaking hands and holding an award or certificate at about waist height.

| Body colours of Canon 350D | 13 Mar 2005 23:48 GMT | 12 |
I've noticed that the "painted silver" colour on plastic-bodied cameras tends to wear out, leaving whatever is under it to show through. Does anyone know if the black colour you can

| Flash for Nikon D70 | 13 Mar 2005 16:24 GMT | 3 |
I would much appreciate advice on a flash for the Nikon D70. I have a Sigma EF430ST and a Cobra Auto 250 with auto external thyristor trigger sensor. Can either - both be used with the Nikon and if so how best? As part of the setup I would like to be able to photograph some ...

I can't believe this is the concept for the "Charger." Ugly, ungainly and hulking. Poor Dodge. It looks like a bloody Toyota. http://www.allpar.com/cars/lx/dodge-charger.html

| [Maxxum 7D] -shutter lag | 12 Mar 2005 00:56 GMT | 35 |
I was shooting my pickup volleyball gang last night ( I sprained my ankle a few weeks ago, it's not healed yet, so... ) I had shot this group (and other sports) several times and with my Maxxum 9 I had a good feeling for the timing. The shutter lag on the 9
