| Backfocus - different lenses give different focal planes? | 16 Mar 2005 22:41 GMT | 31 |
I tested the backfocus of the Maxxum 7D. Links below. For the 100mm lens, all seems well. For the 50mm lens, it seems to focus camera side of the target. Any ideas?

| What hardware to burn CF card to CD without a computer? | 16 Mar 2005 02:15 GMT | 19 |
I'd like to travel without carrying a notebook computer and copy the image files from CF cards to a CD, preferable several CF cards to a single CD. I'd then mail the CD home for safe keeping. Is there such a thing as a CF-card-to-CD burner that does not required a separate

| Canon RebleXT vs. 20D? | 15 Mar 2005 17:48 GMT | 29 |
Does anyone who has tried the XT have on opinion as to whether the 20D is worth $500 more? I'm most interested in shutter lag. I'd really like a digital camera that could do as good a job as a $5 throw-away film camera when it came to letting ME decide when to take the picture. ...

| Ratings on build quality from Brit mag | 15 Mar 2005 11:50 GMT | 22 |

| Canon 75-300 IS | 15 Mar 2005 02:11 GMT | 7 |
Take what the naysayers post about this lens with a grain of salt. Most of them have never owned it, which is obvious from their comments. This shot was taken in the Florida Everglades under cloudy conditions and from a crowded tram ride that was bumping and jerking and ...

| 20D lockup | 15 Mar 2005 00:31 GMT | 9 |
It happened today with a 100-400 IS lens (which is kind of interesting since I searched a few forums and found others reporting the same lens when their 20Ds locked up). My 20D has the latest firmware (it came with it). My symptoms were pretty much identical to what has already ...
