Has anyone used this lens on a D70? If so, how do you like it?
Thank you

D70 setup for sunset photos... how do I?19 Mar 2005 08:06 GMT14
What's the best way to setup a D70 for sunset photos, or is it just a matter
of experimenting?  My old Sony had a sunset mode on it that worked every
time, exposing the sunset perfectly and letting the landscape just fall away
and go dark.

Photoshop ?19 Mar 2005 06:10 GMT10
I've just recently made my first attempt at using Photoshop, and find it
completely mind boggling !
I see out on the net that there are tutorials on a set of CD's that talk you
through lessons, as well as show you what to do on screen. This looks like
Nikon none G lens question19 Mar 2005 02:37 GMT9
I'm used to my 35-135 Nikkor lens (on 35mm) and would like recommendations
for a parallel digital equivalent.
I do not like the G (without the aperture ring) and was looking at the
28-105 f/3.5-4.5D AF since I prefer to have one lens at all times.
Canon 350D19 Mar 2005 00:50 GMT4
I've fancied a DSLR for a few months now and Saturday is shopping day (
providing wife agrees ) for a Canon 350D!!
Anyone bought one? the reviews are very limited at the moment and the only
research I've done is on the Canon web site - but can we believe them.
Questions about extension tubes18 Mar 2005 23:50 GMT6
A few questions that I hope those with more experience than I can answer:
I've got a Nikon D70 and the 50mm f/1.8 lens and am thinking of getting
some extension tubes as a "poor man's macro".  I know they allow you to
focus closer, and therefore fill the frame with a smaller subject ...

D70 and B&W : need a b&w printer18 Mar 2005 18:01 GMT9
Hi Group,
I'm enjoying my new D70... so much faster in terms of operation than my
old Oly E10. I should have checked if it did black & white but anyway.. it
doesn't. So I've read up about the different ways of converting to B&W in
OT - what printer is good for low cost B+W photos?18 Mar 2005 07:04 GMT3
I have zero experience in this area.  Are there any type of laser
printers that have good grey scale printing?  Or should I use a
particular kind of bubble/ink jet?  I'm attracted to the laser because
of the lower cost per page cost.  But perhaps it would use a lot more

Found a "previously owned" gem today...17 Mar 2005 20:39 GMT1
After getting the 20D, I took the advice from some folks here at r.p.d.s-s
and decided that I'd go wide first so I got the EF-S 10-22 and I like it.
So, thank you to those who chimed in.
I just spent this past weekend in very close proximity to Nellis AFB and was
Rumour of Olympus lens adapter?  B.S.?17 Mar 2005 17:10 GMT4
From dcreviews.com;
Rumour has it that Olympus make an adapter allowing the use of older
Olympus OM-series lenses on E-system cameras. They are not actually
advertising it, but it is understood that price should be somewhere in
