Anyone here had any problems?

No special D lenses for KM 7D?27 Mar 2005 18:00 GMT1
I currently own a Minlota A1 and am trying to decide which DSLR to buy.
There is something that keeps nagging my mind when thinking about the
Konica Minolta 7D's wonderfull anti-shake system: since the sensor is able
to move 10 mm unidirectional, it means that it can cover 28 x 34 ...
Price of 36x24 DSLR in A Year or Two27 Mar 2005 17:33 GMT23
Kodak DCS SLR/x is under $3500 now. If it keeps going this way, I'm
expecting it goes below $2000 in two years or sooner. And all cropped
DSLRs below $800?
Memory/Storage Education needed27 Mar 2005 05:59 GMT10
Say I purchase a 1 GB card for use with one of the Canon 8 or 8.2 mp
cameras.  Shooting in Raw, how many images will fit on the card?
Same question for JPEG images at the highest resolution.
Thanks,
Battery Life for Rebel XT27 Mar 2005 01:23 GMT13
I have recently purchased a XT with a 17-85mm IS USM lens. I can take
about 1GB of JPEG on my SanDisk before the low battery lights come on?
Is this normal? Also, I realize with the low battery, I am able to shoot
but cannot perform proper metering( I press the shutter, it would ...
350XL26 Mar 2005 21:07 GMT16
Any problems reported on the 350xl ,I cannot find any.
It seems like the 20D had Loads of them when it first came out, maybe they
learned their lesson on it.
No banding issues, poor internal or external flash exposure problems, or
What happens when Nikon D70 rebate expires?25 Mar 2005 21:59 GMT5
I've been waiting and waiting about getting my D70. I finally decided to
go pick one up tomorrow, but then I was wondering what will happen on
March 31, when the rebate expires. I'm wondering if they will just drop
the shelf price to 1099 (USD), which is what you get with the ...
Wireless USB 2.025 Mar 2005 14:45 GMT30
I see that a wireless USB 2 spec is being finalized.  I'd love to have a
wireless device go under my camera, hook up to the USB port, and DL
directly to a computer or laptop not too far away.  The USB cable
supplied with the camera is very short (5 ft) and the max length of USB
First pictures with the 350D25 Mar 2005 06:43 GMT15
All criticism welcome.
These are the first pictures I've ever taken, so hopefully I'll get
better. I was so exited to play with the 350D, I totally forgot to use the
focus points :-(  And I need to get myself a a mono/tri-pod asap.
Somewhat OT on battery chargers25 Mar 2005 02:43 GMT6
if there is a more appropo newsgroup, my apologies and please advise...
I was curious if there is any difference in battery chargers that were made
for (per product recommendation)
nicad vs metal halide vs rechargeable alkaline, etc ?    Don't they all e.g.
Any reviews of 350XT yet?25 Mar 2005 02:38 GMT10
Seems like the Canon 350 has been out for a couple weeks now; has anybody
seen a "real" review yet? I'm dying to know how it stacks up via the 20D,
particularly in terms of noise at higher ISO.
Thanks-
Tri & mono-pod recommedations needed25 Mar 2005 02:30 GMT5
Any recommendations on a good tri & mono-pod would be greatly appreciated.
I only have one small 75-300 lens right now, but easily see myself getting
a good 500-600mm range lens down the line.
Don't really care about weight and would rather buy a quality product than
