| Selling photographs (stock) online? | 30 Mar 2005 05:08 GMT | 2 |
Some sites like Yahoo and Shuterfly allow the viewer to order prints online. I was wondering if there are any websites that allow you to display your photos and get a cut if anyone wants to download them or order prints?

Has anyone seen one of these? I just saw it listed on Canon's website. Are they actually in stores?

| Cold shoe table stand for Canon 550EX flash | 29 Mar 2005 15:03 GMT | 1 |
I've mislaid the little plastic cold shoe table stand (Canon literature calls it a "hot shoe table stand" - but there are no "hot" contacts on it) that comes with the Canon 550EX. While it was just a cheap little plastic gadget - I found it very handy for placing slave

| Brand new D70 problem | 29 Mar 2005 11:06 GMT | 12 |
Broken camera or stupid newbie stunt. Took my new D70 out of the box, mounted a lens, put a set of fresh lithiums in it and turned it on. The language selection screen came up as promised, but the cursor control button would not move to another selection nor would the "enter" ...

I've had a Canon D30 for a few years and it's been splendid. Problem now with the mirror staying up and the shutter staying open when I try to take a picture. Happens on all lenses and flash cards. Batts are fine. I have to remove and re-insert the battery to close

| AF field Maxxum 7D | 28 Mar 2005 20:08 GMT | 1 |
I have the Maxxum 7D and I have an old Vivitar 28-210 lens. When it is attached to the body I can't choose the AF field and it doesn't matter in which position the switch is. All the time I see the "checkerboard" on the display and the middle filed is chosen. I can't change it. Is ...

| Bag Recommendation for Rebel XT w 18-75mm and 50mm | 28 Mar 2005 11:26 GMT | 6 |
I finally took a plunge and bought the Rebel XT with the 17-85mm IS USM lens. I also planned to buy another 50mm f/1.8 or f/1.4 lens together with some cleaning supplies. Right now, my camera and lenses are sitting pretty in their boxex. I need some recommendation on what ...

| Cards vs. Micro Drives | 28 Mar 2005 10:50 GMT | 27 |
I'm thinking about a 2GB or 4GB micro drive, as opposed to a compact flash card. How much harder are the drives on the batteries then the cards? Is there a significant difference? Thanks,

| Sigma 18mm - 50mm f/2.8 | 28 Mar 2005 04:36 GMT | 5 |
Sigma makes a constant aperture 18-50/2.8 in Canon's EF-S mount. 28-70 seems to be a popular zoom category for film; this would give a similar field of view for cameras with 1.6 crop factors. I have not heard a lot about it here, nor on photo.net, nor anywhere else.

| constant-aperture wide-angle zooms | 28 Mar 2005 03:46 GMT | 2 |
What constant-aperture wide-angle or wide-to-normal/slight-tele zooms lenses do people here like for EF or EF-S mount? F/4 is a little slow for a walking-around lens for me, but Canon's 16-35L costs about 2x too much. Tokina 20-35/2.8 maybe? That'd get
