| YALQ: Yet another lens question. | 09 Mar 2005 05:09 GMT | 1 |
The 350D looks like it might be my first DSLR in a month or two. (BTW, just got an email from B&H. They have them in stock, at the moment.) So I already have a 28-105/3.5-4.5 and a 100-300/5.6L which kept me really happy on my Elan IIe.

Can you take double exposures with the Minolta Maxxum 7D? I looked through the manual and online, but can;t find any reference to it. If the camera doesn't do it, can it be done in photoshop?

| 35mm negative & slide scans - as good as *ist DS images? | 07 Mar 2005 21:06 GMT | 1 |
After some going thru my first hundred or so images on the new *ist DS, my first impressions are that the results are as good if not better than scanned negatives and slides from my older Nikon LS2000 film scanner, especially the darker images.

| if you could only have one wide angle | 07 Mar 2005 19:04 GMT | 4 |
I'm in the market for a wide angle lense but I have absolutely no where to start. I have a D70 (kit with lens) and as a boon picked up the Nikkor 60mm and 105mm micro lenses for some macro work. Any suggestions on a wide angle lense?

| Sandisk Extreme III CF cards? | 07 Mar 2005 17:21 GMT | 28 |
Looking at Rob Galbraith CF data base the new Sandisk Extreme III cards have a slight edge in the Canon 20D over Lexar's 80x. It is noticable or a "never mind". I'm getting ready to by 4 gig of CF, 2 -1gig and one 2gig and am debating between Sandisk and Lexar.

Several years past I managed to publish a few articles in various mags, supplementing the articles with my own photography. I used Kodachrome 25, 64, and later, Velvia 50 as my film. I recently added a D70 to my cameras, and doing a little searching on the web, I
