Care Maintenance and Finger Prints19 Jan 2005 07:45 GMT16
Ok, so I am a D70 owner for less than a week and I already have a huge
fingerprint smeared across my lens. And I do not have the slightest
clue as to how it should be cleaned (properly).
I ordered the camera kit online so no one was there to "sell" me a
RAW vs JPEG comparison for D7019 Jan 2005 02:02 GMT20
I did this study to convince myself to switch over to RAW:

It's just a wierd ugly picture in dim yellow light but shows the
differences pretty clearly.
Who has better customer service Nikon or Canon?19 Jan 2005 00:07 GMT2
I can't decide between the N70 & D20, so it's pretty much a toss up.
Either camera would work exceptionally well for me, so I figure I'd give
the nod to the one with better customer service.
Anyone has experience (good or bad)?
Thinking about D70... Need advice18 Jan 2005 22:17 GMT30
I'm seriously thinking about getting a D70, but when I look at comparison
photos on the Net I'm not impressed.  Most of the photos from the D70 look
kinda fuzzy to me,
and the reviews all say you can do this or that to sharpen them up, and
New 20D needs lenses18 Jan 2005 17:27 GMT96
Santa  was very good and brought a 20D.  Now the next challenge is what
lenses to buy?  My subjects will be the family holiday pictures and this
years Rose Parade and Rose Bowl Game (50 yard line seats!).  I am so enjoy
Yosemite type scenery.
Nikkor lenses18 Jan 2005 14:01 GMT9
I picked up the D70 kit w/ lens. Should I have forgone the lens and
purchased something different? I don't know if I like this lens very
much. Oh well.
I am also curious to know your opinions on fisheye lenses. How does the
Nikon D70, dirty dots on exposures17 Jan 2005 21:15 GMT7
ok, first a question about those little blurry dots i get. they don't
stay long, they seem to move around, but when i make pictures with a
flat background, like the whole image is just a nice blue sky, i get
these blurry dots all over. sometimes up to 4-5. they stay for a while
D-70. Which lense option is better?17 Jan 2005 19:57 GMT4
Experts!
Please help the green. I want to buy D-70 with some lense but I'm lost in the lense options, could you advise which one is better and for which purpose?
1. 2-lense option Sigma 28-80mm and 70-300 mm. Looks like the best deal because the price seems to be 50% cut (now ...
Problem with Nikon D70 and Vivitar ringlight flash17 Jan 2005 15:12 GMT2
I have attached a Vivitar 6000AF ringlight flash (for Nikon) to a Nikon
D70.  However, I cannot get the shutter to fire.  Camera is set to
auto.  Settings have been reset to default.  The lens is a D series CPU
lens (AF Micro Nikkor 105mm 1:2.8D).  The ready light on the flash is
long exposure for astronomy (or what ever)17 Jan 2005 08:31 GMT3
went out last night with the astronomers, and i thought i can make
pictures...
so you can set the d70 to 30 sec. that's it? what if i want to make an
1 hour exposure? I found out that when i set the d70 to bulb, i can
Small Focusing Screen on Digital EOS-300D/Rebel17 Jan 2005 06:29 GMT1
Can anything be done to increase the size of the focus screen on the Canon
EOS-300D/Digital Rebel?
I'm thinking of the magnifiying things that you used to be able to get for
some cameras  that slip over the view finder?
D11 or D7017 Jan 2005 03:56 GMT19

Right angle viewfinder for Kodak DCs pro..??17 Jan 2005 02:13 GMT2
Been looking for a 6x6 digital back or camera system, finally decided
that the cost was just too great, so bought a Kodak, with a view to
buying a 1Ds mk2 if I was happy with the general idea.
The Kodak is great, but using it on a low tripod in the studio for hours
How much of Canon and Nikon still made in Japan?17 Jan 2005 00:26 GMT3
Remember when (Contax I think) production was
shifted from Germany to Portugal and then Brazil?
There were people saying quality dropped.  But
it was never clear cut.  Odd, considering things
