Noisy Nikon 80-40009 Dec 2004 05:36 GMT2
Test drove a Nikon 80-400, seems rather noisy, anyone else have the same
experience. Also tried a Sigma 50-500, very quiet and fast but this lens was
stiff, anyone used the Sigma 80-400?

Two questions, for those who may know09 Dec 2004 04:58 GMT5
1.  Is the Olympus E1 the only DSLR with the ultrasonic
CCD window cleaner?
2.  Does the Fuji S3 Pro really have lower noise and greater
dynamic range than any other DSLR?

My camera has been gone for what I believe to be way too long at one of these

Smallest flash for a 10D?08 Dec 2004 01:49 GMT7
What would be the smallest flash I could use on a Canon 10D?  I don't care
if it is made by Canon or not, as long as it is compatible.

Min aperture for on for 20D?08 Dec 2004 01:14 GMT1
I know my Rebel will not autofocus my 100-400 at f/5.6 with my 1.4x TC (at
f/8.0) but it works fine on my 1D (without taping over pins of course) What
about the 20D, and what do you call this?

Fishing for opinions on lenses07 Dec 2004 16:56 GMT5
I will be doing a good bit of photographing scale models for print

on what kind of prime lens would work best for this. I've got a Sigma
SD 9, so Sigma is the limit here, but I'm willing to invest in a EX

Canon EOS 20D printed manuals languages04 Dec 2004 20:29 GMT4
I'm probably going to order a Canon EOS 20D in the very near future.
I have one question: are the printed manuals in the language of the
country where the camera is purchased, or are they multilingual? Same
question for the software CD(s?). I'd rather have the manuals in

What digital combination would give the equivalent of a 35mm slr with a
80 - 200 mm lens.
