Saltzman Part ?27 Jun 2008 18:32 GMT12
Good news. The two gears and chain apparatus that couple the head's forward
and back movement were missing. I got the parts from the local tractor shop,
and installed them before noon today, Sunday. Perfect fit! Got to love made
stone-standard US industrial parts.

I broke down and got the Saltzman sales literature from John Craig

Kodak Rapid Fixer storage life.15 Jun 2008 14:17 GMT6
I was wondering about buying a cubitainer of part A of Kodak Rapid Fixer
instead of mixing F-9 fixer all the time. But sometimes I do not use it very
fast, so perhaps I should get the smaller size.
How long does the stuff last, unmixed, in the cubitainer? I have great
Gravity Bleeding14 Jun 2008 20:11 GMT5
Chris - you wrote that you gravity bleed your brakes. So I read up on it.
That is one head smacking solution! So it goes like this, right - make sure
there's plenty of fluid, open the bleeders and so something else for an
hour, close 'em and it's a done deal? (Catch the fluid, of ...

Home Made Registration Punch and Carrier?12 Jun 2008 05:42 GMT18
Registration punches and carriers for projection (enlarging) 8x10
and also for contact printing 8x10 and larger.
All I've found so far are very large registration punches intended for
nonphotographic printing, or some dauntingly expensive photographic systems.
