Kentmere papers30 Apr 2008 23:56 GMT1
Does anyone used Kentmere's B&W papers? How do that compare to
Ilford's? Thanks.
Minilab parts for sale28 Apr 2008 23:51 GMT2
A friend of mine is getting rid of his Fuji SFA-248 minilab printer,
as well as the parts machine that is identical, but missing parts.  Is
there anywhere this sort of parts cavalcade could be used, and where
would be the best place to advertise it?
Where is the full list of Ilford's fact sheets?27 Apr 2008 16:46 GMT20
Where can I get access the full list of Ilford's fact sheets
( pdf's )?  Finding them one by one is tedious easily to miss some
real important.
Thanks.

Acufine Acu-1 substitute18 Apr 2008 19:49 GMT7
Hello, because it is quite difficult to find Acu-1 developer, is there
a subsitute with analogue characteristics? Microdol for example? I
would like to use it with MACO IR film, to obtain less grain than the
one I have normally with HC-110. Thanks.
Film reels jamming (Developer tank)17 Apr 2008 13:11 GMT26
When I try to reel film onto my developing tank reels (Jobo and
Patterson, both 35mm and 120), the film jams and, even tapping or
knocking the reel, I often can't get the whole film loaded.
And, yes, the reels are perfectly dry.
DIY light source for 10X10" enlarger.14 Apr 2008 23:53 GMT61
To date I've considered enlarger light sources to be engineering well beyond
my feeble capability, but I have used and examined only condenser enlargers
such as the Leitz IIa and Omega condenser enlarger, but my task now is to
make a diffusion thpe for the 10x10 enlarger.
Double vs Single Condenser Lens14 Apr 2008 02:15 GMT6
I've started taking 6x6 photos. Instead of buying a new enlarger, I'm
adapting my trustworthy MPP condenser to take 6x6 negs. This has
involved fabricating a new lens board, fabricating a new neg holder,
purchasing a new enlarging lens and replacing the condenser.
Adjusting development for temperature13 Apr 2008 19:39 GMT30
Given that the basement is still coolish from the winter, what would
be the best development time factor for D76 at 60 deg F (15 deg C)?
An experiment with a roll of film at 1.66x recommended time yielded a
rather razor thin negative, though the film had been sitting in the

not drink the whole soda, failed, Kathleen Coco Stebbins tells me that
