| if you need to get the big files printed | 30 Mar 2008 04:21 GMT | 3 |
yes, I know I said last message before, this is the absolute if your printer cannot do big files (laserjets are a better value considering media), you can send them for printing/delivery at somewhere like http://www.fedex.com/us/officeprint/main/

| 81/4 inch f4.5 Xerox lens mande in England by Rank Taylor Hobson | 27 Mar 2008 16:08 GMT | 1 |
Would any one know anything about this lens. Is it a portrait lens or as I suppose a copy machine lens? I find some of the info I can glean somewhat sketchy.

| How much of a 120 neg is cropped in printing? | 24 Mar 2008 22:18 GMT | 1 |
I have some 120 negs with the main subject very close to the edges of the frame. How much of the neg is typically lost in printing? For example, would something 1/8 of an inch from the edge of the neg show up in an 8x10 print?

| Still on Rollei ATP film | 23 Mar 2008 20:39 GMT | 3 |
I start a new post about this film. I've tried my first roll, exposed at 25 ISO, taking pictures of mountain landscape, with few snow and clouds on sky. I've tried Delagi #8 developer, 15 mins at 20 degrees, exactly the

| AN (Anti-Newton) glass question | 21 Mar 2008 17:42 GMT | 15 |
The Focomat IIa uses AN glass for the top glass, and plain for the lower. Is this a universal principle? IOW, can I presume the same for any two-glass carrier?

| C-41 film in Rodinal | 14 Mar 2008 16:09 GMT | 14 |
Please answer this question only if you have something useful to add. While buying a C-41 kit for $16 from B&H may be a viable option in the U.S., here it is impossible. Not only would I have to ship it via surface mail (2-3 months by boat), but the post office just added

| Rollei ATP film | 13 Mar 2008 16:54 GMT | 12 |
Hi all, I've seen that it is available the Rollei ATP film, whose "subtitle" is "Technical Pan". It's a long time I'm looking for a valid substitute of magic Kodal TP film, a film that could be treated also with non-standard baths such as POTA or Delagi. There are few

| The right darkroom book? | 13 Mar 2008 15:32 GMT | 13 |
Curious if there is a current book that covers film 'developing' on subjects such as the effects that specific developers will have of specific films and such, like bring- ing out the best sharpness and contrasty tonality with shadow detail. The idea is a specialist book of teaching ...

| Cloudy Chemistry | 10 Mar 2008 20:42 GMT | 1 |
I have two litres of Bromophen stock solution. It was made a fortnight ago but has since developed a white sediment at the bottom. Shaking the bottle causes the stock to go cloudy. This weekend I mixed Barry Thornton's two-bath developer. Having never

I want to read some old articles on Lloyd Erlick's web site, which was http://www.heylloyd.com in my bookmarks. But these days I find it's not reachable no longer. Does these articles moved to a new site? Particularly, I want to find tech articles about single-tray
