At school when I need to leave my developing film somewhat unattended I rig up a unicolor roller to accept our tanks. It's supposed to do Foward-Reverse, but it just goes in one direction. I get good results with it, even if the tank gets a snag for a minute or two i just add

Just developed a role of kodak 400tx with ilford chemicals useing same process i would used for 100 iso. Kinda figured it would be wrong to do so, but did it anyway, with bad results can someone please advise on developing times for kodak 400tx using ilford cheer j.b

I want to shoot some resolution shots to test my LF lenses. If I use D-76 that has been spent developing other negatives, what can I expect from the negatives developed beyond the rated capacity? The qualities in a negative that the developer impacts are contrast, maximum density

I found some out B&W film, it says KODAK 5055 CSY on the negative, I have googled and searched the kodak site and *cannot* find out what's the formal name or any other information on the film. There were two VERY odd things about it, it came in 21 exposures, and the negatives

After an unintentional extended absence from my darkroom, my paper fix concertina bottle is full of a dark grey precipitate which is insoluble in water. What can I use to dissolve this and clean my bottle? Is it the same as the pale yellow ppt I see in splashes on the fix bottle ...
