about the old (pre 2000) jessops pan 400 film31 May 2006 20:51 GMT2
is there anybody out there who knows anything about the  old (pre 2000)

Developing photos from objects, not negatives31 May 2006 13:59 GMT5
Hi, hope I'm in the right place.
I remember someone telling me about a method of developing photos from
objects such as leaves, twigs, geometric shapes etc, rather than negatives.
I can't for the life of me remember the name of the technique.
PA, NJ, DE: B&W Chemistry31 May 2006 03:57 GMT13
Does anywhere know of a store *offline* that sells B&W chemistry? I
called around twenty places one day, I know one exists but I seem to
have misplaced the number. If anyone knows of a good place in the
general area (preferably deleware, chester or bucks county) Wilmington,
Concentrated HCA From Powder30 May 2006 23:50 GMT14
I've got a big 454g packet of Kodak HCA. I don't exactly have room for the 5
US gallons that it will produce. I've contemplated just weighing out 20 per
cent and making 1 gallon. Is it possible to make the whole packet into a
concentrate similar to other manufacturers' (e.g. Agfa ...

I have two questions about this paper. What kind of changes I can
accept using this paper compare to old version?  I wrote that  the new
version gives deeper  black colour than old version . Is this statement
true?

Neg Popping on Beseler MX4527 May 2006 19:15 GMT2
How do I avoid having neg pops on an MX45 enlarger. I've read where some
keep the enlarger light on until ready to print keeping the neg popped and
focussing on the popped neg. How would I go about blocking the light so I
can still have materials out with this enlarger. Is it easier ...

Kodak, which is in the midst of a mammoth digital overhaul, said Monday
Film camera question25 May 2006 01:47 GMT15
I see a lot of developed film and contact sheets at my school and every once
in a while I see a roll of negatives or a contact sheet that has a thin band
of lighter tone (darker on the negatives) at the bottom of most negative
frames, as if all the frames got a little ...
Computar dL vs. El-Nikkor?23 May 2006 02:27 GMT5
I have the chance to acquire a 105mm f/4.5 Computar-dL enlarging

6x6 and 6x7 black-and-white negatives.  Both lenses are in essentially
mint condition.  Since my darkroom time is more limited than I'd like,
