?HC-110 no longer good for 125PX and 400TX?22 Mar 2006 03:31 GMT1
Today I visited Kodaks web site and checked for developing times for
HC-110, Dil. B,  with 125PX and 400TX. I found that it was no longer
recomended because of short developing times of less than 5 min.. Those
of us who use HC-110 and have experimented with other dillutions like
Using light meter as Enlarger meter22 Mar 2006 03:14 GMT2
I just heard about this today and was wondering if anyone can give in
simple terms how to go about doing that with my Sekonic light meter.
Or where I can read up more about it.
Used for giving exposer times and can this also be a why to also read the

16x20 Saunders borderless  easel19 Mar 2006 14:02 GMT5
I was recently given a 16x20 Saunders easel for making borderless
prints.  It is the kind that has ajustable blades (paper edge holders)
on the 16 in. sides.  There is nothing on the top or bottom of the 20
in. sides.
basic question: Super Chromega D II19 Mar 2006 00:11 GMT11
I hope this is a simple question. I just inherited two Omega Chromega D
II enlarger heads, and I can't seem to get them to turn on.  They both
behave the same way:  the fan turns on, but the primary halogen lamp
doesn't light, and neither does the smaller panel light.  New lamps

Why is silver going up?
The photographic demand for silver has to be going down.
what enlarger to go for?18 Mar 2006 07:47 GMT12
Hi there - I'm new here <waves>
So, I've been doing b&w photography for a bit and am now looking to set
up a darkroom at home. I have the option to get either a Durst M305 or
a Vivitar 356 enlarger and am wondering what people would suggest (I've
Print Artifact17 Mar 2006 14:53 GMT10
I have sporadically had this artifact on my B and W prints.  In the
current case, I am using Kodak Polycontrast C as the paper "negative"
in a pinhole camera, that has produced excellent images recently.  I
just threw out the "old brown" that I was using, and filled the
Question about parts for Jobo Processors16 Mar 2006 16:25 GMT2
I have a Jobo CPA2 processor, which I'd like to use with Expert tanks.
However the lift is fitted with rollers for the smaller-diameter
tanks, so the Expert tanks will work.  In other words, I need to
install wider rollers.
HP5 and Ultrafin question16 Mar 2006 15:44 GMT5
My local dealer dropped Agfa and Kodak chemicals
in favor of Tetenal. I never used this brand before and
would like to know your opinion about Ultrafin
developer. My film is HP5+
BW print from a lab is violet (blue and red)16 Mar 2006 06:06 GMT6
I just bought a photography print from allposters.com. They say it's a
photography quality on the best paper... Well, the photography is
supposed to be in black and white, but it's not. There is a violet tint

Opemus III Enlarger - manual?15 Mar 2006 19:44 GMT4
I just picked up an Opemus III enlarger and am looking for a manual, if such
a thing exists. I have done some searching on the internet and not (yet)
come up with anything useful. Any help greatly appreciated.
Thanks,

Intensifying underdeveloped negatives?14 Mar 2006 16:40 GMT25
It's been a LONG time since I've been in the darkroom; but a friend had
a question - is there a way to salvage underdeveloped negatives? She
developed in the wrong dilution of HC-110 and got a very thin roll of
negs.
