Rolleimat Universal20 Nov 2005 21:52 GMT1
I just bought a second-hand package of darkroom equipment, which includes a
Rolleimat Universal.  I got the whole package for $280.
What do you think of Rolleimat's performance?
Why do some photographers like HC-110?  To me, it sucks -- but I could be wrong. 20 Nov 2005 14:25 GMT55
I'm trying to find a good B/W film developer to use in a Jobo Expert
tank, on a Beseler moror base.
I've tried D-23, 1:1 and a dilute solution of HC-110 (1-79 or so),
rating the film at its stated ASA -- i.e. 100 or 400 .
Jobo Roller Block Parts20 Nov 2005 14:19 GMT5
I just purchased a used CPP-2 with lift.  I want to use the 3000 series
tanks but the CPP-2 did not come with the Roller Extensions (#07067) needed
to accomodate the larger 3000 series tanks.
I have contacted Omega Satter but I haven't gotten any response yet.
Developing film pieces18 Nov 2005 22:09 GMT10
I am using 35mm films in small boxes, used as pinhole cameras, but I
have some trouble developing them. To do it I use a tank, and putting
every piece inside the spiral require a long time, but that is not the
biggest matter, the biggest one is that, sometimes, could happen that
Omega C760 Super Chromega Dichroic a couple of questions18 Nov 2005 21:03 GMT4
I picked one of these up for very little to upgrade a B66. Omega
sells an adapter for it. Will I be able to use the B66 neg holders after the
upgrade? Is the adapter just a plate? The head I got came with a big plate
that I guess is needed for a different enlarger. It sure ...
durst pro camcap18 Nov 2005 15:39 GMT8
I just got a used Durst B&W Enlarger.  On the top, it says "Durst
Camcap(made in Italy)".  On the bottom, "Durst Pro".  Anyone has heard
or knows of this enlarger?
Thanks,
inkjet printer advice wanted18 Nov 2005 15:35 GMT22
November 13, 2005, from Lloyd Erlick,
Well, here I am asking the darkroom group
about a computer printer!
Anyway, as many people here know, I use the
The End of Agfa Photo18 Nov 2005 10:14 GMT44
Just looking for other D-lab owners who may have heard something about
the future of Agfa Photo or "A and O".  I currently own 2 d-labs and
have recently quit making my lease payments based on the idea that I
may not be able to get parts / service on these labs 2 months or even 2
Kodak to Ilford : Alternative Products.18 Nov 2005 00:31 GMT45
Are Kodak planning to discontinue anymore B&W products or is this chart
simply to provide a guide to those who wish to switch from Kodak to Ilford
products?

Jobo, Tetenal and Fuji17 Nov 2005 07:12 GMT5
Would anyone like to comment on the discrepancy in suggested timings for
Fuji E6 film, between the Jobo website and Tetenal E6 instructions?
Tetenal give FD 7:00 for rotary processors, then 6:00 for CD and 6:00 for BL
(all fresh solutions). Jobo website instructions for the CPE-2 ...

Minilab in my basement.16 Nov 2005 14:29 GMT4
I have an oder  Noritsu minilab in my basement. I bought it to start a
small part time family business. I ran some film and prints on the
machine but never actually started operating the business.
I tried to sell the lab but have had no takers. I am wondering if it
Filter grades16 Nov 2005 13:07 GMT24
Given the exposure times of a two-filter approach to printing, is there
a way to derive the theoretical effective grade without doing print
matching using all the available grades ?
For example, for a given print on VC paper with condenser/tungsten
Using Ilford Multigrade below lens16 Nov 2005 08:35 GMT16
Can I cut down a set of Ilford Multigrade 3.5" filters for below-the-lens
use?
In other words, are below-the-lens filters different in any way optically?
Recommendation for an enlarging timer?15 Nov 2005 22:49 GMT4
My ideal enlarging timer is the Gralab 300.
I would like something as simple and easy to operate, but much more
compact.
Any recommendations?
