I've just bought a jobo cpp2 and so I'd like starting to develop colour (E6,

Could you tell me if I can find good tutorials on the web?
Otherwise good books ( such as rudman's for b/w printing).

E6/C41 Developer/Blix Question13 Jul 2005 10:24 GMT17
I've been pondering this for some time, and can't seem to find answers on
google to this question. Is C41 Colour Developer & Blix functionally
identical to E6 Colour Developer & Blix. I suspect the answer is yes,
especially for the Blix but I'm not 100% sure.
Stand devlopment12 Jul 2005 21:30 GMT7
I was wondering if I ought to try stand development when I try to push HP5+.
How does HP5+ exposed in the camera 800, then developed in dilute Rodinal?
From a first guess 1:100 or 1:200 for 1 - 2 hours.
Any thoughts?

candid/snapshot style photography with some outside stuff, sometimes
fill-flashed.

C41 with Rapid Fixer08 Jul 2005 19:48 GMT3
Developing some not terribly important film to use up the last of a
1-gallon Flexicolor kit last night I managed to switch the water and
fixer bottles, resulting in a develop-bleach-6:30 water rinse-1 minute
fixer wash-water wash process.  Oops.

way?
In general, are there goood prices for darkroom material?
Any photo labs in Stuttgart, Germany ?06 Jul 2005 05:27 GMT2
I am new in Stuttgart, Germany. I am not so fluent in German. I have
been looking for some developing labs which are good especially for
black and white negetive (preferably hand developed) and colour slide
films. I have not been able to find any so far. I would greatly

White skies above05 Jul 2005 11:50 GMT20
I'm becoming a bit frustrated with my B&W photos having white skies.
Take for instance shots I took a few days ago (4x5, HP5+, HC-110 Dilution
B).  I took a few shots around 7pm here in the Midwest.  The humidity was
very high...80% or so but the sky was still a light shade of ...

Choose "Gallery" and "Portfolios".
Have a good time.
Photo chemistry03 Jul 2005 08:17 GMT19
Does anybody know of a good reference which explains some of the chemistry
going on in B&W development?  Or does anybody here know how the
development chemistry works?
I understand that light produces metallic Ag atoms in the silver-halide
Getting nervous with wetting agent.03 Jul 2005 03:03 GMT16
Hello everybody. No matter how I try wetting agent keeps giving me bad
times. I always get marks along the negatives.
I first soak for a minute agitating, the I hang the negatives and pur a
hole liter of the wetting agent -the proper dilution, I mean- over it.
