Push processing sugestions01 Aug 2005 00:07 GMT4
I need some sugestions on push processing.
I have been reading Stephen G. Anchell's "The Darkroom CoockBook" (2nd
Edition) and in chapter 7 (pages 65, 66 and 67) the autor talks about 2
methods to increase film speed.

Forte Fortepan 100 and Ilford DD-X31 Jul 2005 17:23 GMT2
I got a small problem: Does anybody know developing times for Fortepan 100
with Ilford DD-X? 'Til now I couldn't find anything about this in the Net.
Please help me!

E-6 Processing29 Jul 2005 23:06 GMT21
Well, I've gotten some interesting replies to my previous thread about
developing Agfa Scala at home, so I thought I'd ask about doing E-6 films
reversal films at home. Are there any kits one could buy, or the separate
chemicals, with which to develop transparencies?
Agfa Scala Question29 Jul 2005 01:00 GMT5
Hello, group!
I've a question about this film. Is it possible to develop it yourself, at
home? I see no indication of chemistry process on the package, nor do I see
anything in the way of chemistry at places like B&H.
Dark rooms29 Jul 2005 00:30 GMT4
Hi, I live in the bay area in Northern California.  Are there dark
rooms for public use (for a fee of course)in the area? I'm justing
learning how to develop my own film and was looking to be able to get
into a dark room periodically.
just starting and need help28 Jul 2005 22:51 GMT16
ok, there's something i really dont understand:
How am I suppose to be able to see what I'm doing in  a darkroom? There can
be absolutely no light, but then how do i develop the photos if I can't even
see what's going on???
Badly overexposed FP4+ - how to save images?28 Jul 2005 15:45 GMT10
On a just-completed trip to Colorado I noticed (later rather than earlier,
I'm afraid) that my Pentax Spotmeter V had decided to lie.  Now that
I'm home and can compare it to another reference meter I find I exposed
some of my film at ASA 25 rather than the intended ASA 100, a ...

Ilford Delta Pro and which developer? 26 Jul 2005 17:45 GMT16
I shot some rolls of Ilford Delta Professional (both 100 and 400),
which represents the first time I've strayed from Tmax or Tri-X. I
usually develop TMax with TMax developer, and Tri-X with D76. I'm
guessing that TMax probably wouldn't be the best choice for the Ilford
4x5 Sheet Development: JOBO vs HP Combi26 Jul 2005 14:59 GMT8
Currently, for my B&W 4x5 sheet development, I use an HP Combi. From
time to time, I have problems with it, mainly with the negs falling off
the tracks. Still, it's just about the only game in town. Trays are out
because they require total darkness and I'm pretty sure I'd end up
The procedure I've been using for developing tri-x 400tx26 Jul 2005 13:32 GMT17
6 minutes 15 seconds with d-76 @70 degrees, agitate w/5-7 quick
inversions, then repeat every 30 seconds. I've been doing a final
agigation like the above at the end, right after times up. I also smack
the canister into my palm at the end of each agitation bit.
Improved D76R?25 Jul 2005 23:50 GMT12
I have the formula for 'improved' D76, but has anyone worked out a formula
for the improved replenisher?

traditional vs. digital25 Jul 2005 23:20 GMT26
I was directed to an interesting article by Bruce Barnbaum on
traditional vs. digital fine art photography:  on his website at
www.barnbaum.com, followed by "Thoughts on digital photography".  I am
interested in reaction to his final statement in this article:  "Nothing
